| I hope this works, they blocked PD and all the proxy sites so I can’t tell if the pics are in the correct order but I think they are. If not My bad. I’m sorry. Well I took a little trip from Corpus (80 degees) to Dallas (29 degree) this weekend. I wanted/needed to drop off a copy of the video of the Super GT Race to Luis, Rodel, and Mad Mike that we attended and needed a bit more of reason to go. So On the local SA Zsport forum, I found just that. PS: Mad Mike and Katy are doing great recovering for their accident on the way home from Zcon. Thank you for having me over for a visit while I was in town. So it just happened that this was the weekend of the last game for the CowBoys but I thought it was on Sunday night, not Sat. So I was greeted with Dallas game day traffic. While stuck I took a quick shaky shot.
I stayed up by the Galleria at the Marriott at Beltline and Quorum over looking the toll road.
Now for the reason for the trip… If you are a fan of JGTC or SuperGT as it is currently know as. You know Nissan has had some great drivers over the years. And Satoshi Motoyama has been on the top of the list for quite a few years.
And Richard Lyons was with Nismo also for quite a few years, and was Motoyama Co-driver for a few too.
One of which was 2004 when they won the Championship for the 2nd year in a row, and the first year with this Z33.
Satoshi Motoyama and Richard Lyons signed a Number of raced used wheels and some where later auctioned off at Zcon in Syracuse Back in 05. Where Bernie made the famous bid of 613.29, after Aaron and Milo’s Bid 601 over Bernie’s original bid of 600. If my memory serves. One of the Wheels was picked up from one of the Dallas crew which recently moved and decided to reduce his collection of Z pieces. Which is safe and almost warm in Corpus now
So on the way home I stopped and got with Luis for a Mini Z meet and you know some Honda always has to crash the party. JK!
A Very nice one at that!
I got in last night about 3:30 and the front even made it all the way down here! Damn this weather!
